For employees working in dusty or smoky environments, the chest X-ray is the most critical test in periodic health surveillance. We perform digital PA chest X-rays at your workplace in the lead-shielded X-ray cabin of our mobile health unit, so your employees never need to travel to a hospital.
Images are archived in DICOM format, evaluated by a licensed radiologist and delivered digitally, ready for your occupational physician's EK-2 assessment. In workplaces monitored for pneumoconiosis (occupational lung disease), imaging follows the ILO International Classification of Radiographs of Pneumoconioses and is read against previous films for comparison.
Our X-ray unit holds all required licenses and permits. Device calibrations and dose measurements are performed and documented on a regular schedule.

Questions about this service
Do employees need to prepare for the X-ray?
No. The image is taken standing, after removing metal accessories from clothing, and takes no more than 2-3 minutes per person. We only ask that you notify us in advance of any employee who may be pregnant.
Is an X-ray taken in the vehicle sufficient for diagnosis?
Yes. Our vehicles use digital X-ray systems. Images are recorded in DICOM format and evaluated by a licensed radiologist.
