OHS Services in Ankara
Bella Akademi Sağlık assigns occupational physicians, occupational safety specialists and other health personnel to workplaces in Ankara and the neighbouring provinces. Risk assessment, emergency plans and OHS training run under the same contract. Pre-employment and periodic examinations are completed at your site in the same team's mobile health unit.
What is an OSGB and who must use one?
An OSGB (joint health and safety unit) is a provider authorised by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security to deliver occupational health and safety services to workplaces. Under Article 6 of Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 the employer must assign an occupational safety specialist and an occupational physician. Very hazardous workplaces with 10 or more employees also assign other health personnel.
The long postponement for public institutions and low hazard workplaces with fewer than 50 employees ended on 31 December 2024. As of 1 January 2025 the obligation covers every workplace regardless of headcount or hazard class. Assignments are made through electronic contracts in the İSG-KATİP system. A service not registered in the system counts as not provided during an inspection, and an administrative fine applies for every month without an assignment.
By regulation an OSGB may serve the province where it is authorised and the provinces bordering it. From our centre in Çankaya, Ankara we reach workplaces across Ankara and its seven neighbouring provinces. Health screenings are scheduled across Türkiye by appointment.

Values are the minimum limits set in the regulations on occupational safety specialists, occupational physicians and other health personnel, and in the training, risk assessment and emergency regulations. Above certain headcounts a full-time assignment is required. The scope is calculated from your employee list at the quote stage.

How does the process work?

Hazard class and scope
Minimum times are calculated from your NACE code and headcount, and the need for a physician, specialist and other health personnel is defined. A written quote is sent the same business day.

İSG-KATİP contract
Assignments are registered through an electronic contract in the system and take effect with both parties' approval. Switching from an existing OSGB leaves no service gap.

Field work and health surveillance
Specialist site visits, risk assessment, the emergency plan and training follow the annual work plan. Examinations are completed at your site with the mobile unit.

Common questions about OSGB services in Ankara
Which workplaces must use OSGB services?
As of 1 January 2025 every workplace, regardless of headcount or hazard class, must assign an occupational physician and an occupational safety specialist. In low hazard workplaces with fewer than 50 employees the employer may carry out part of the services after completing the training announced by the Ministry. Pre-employment and periodic examinations and their tests always require a physician.
Can you serve our workplace outside Ankara?
OSGB services are provided in Ankara and the bordering provinces of Bolu, Çankırı, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Aksaray, Konya and Eskişehir. For workplaces beyond these provinces only mobile health screening is scheduled, which is available across Türkiye by appointment.
How many hours per month do the physician and specialist attend?
Time is calculated from headcount and hazard class. In a hazardous class workplace with 50 employees the safety specialist attends at least 1,000 minutes a month, roughly 16.5 hours, and the occupational physician at least 500 minutes, roughly 8.5 hours. Times halve in the low hazard class and the specialist time doubles in the very hazardous class.
How is the contract made and what is İSG-KATİP?
İSG-KATİP is the Ministry's occupational health and safety registration, tracking and monitoring system. Physician and specialist assignments are registered there through an electronic contract that takes effect with the approval of the employer and the OSGB. A paper agreement that does not appear in the system does not count as a valid assignment.
How do we switch from our current OSGB?
The existing contract is terminated in İSG-KATİP and the new assignment is registered in the same system. Transition dates are planned so that no service gap occurs. Existing records such as the risk assessment, emergency plan and personal health files are taken over and any required renewals are added to the annual work plan.
How is the price determined?
The annual fee depends on headcount, hazard class, whether other health personnel are required, and the training and documentation scope. Health screenings are priced separately per person. An itemised written quote is sent the same business day.
