Articles 11 and 12 of Law No. 6331 require the employer to identify emergencies, take preventive measures and establish response and evacuation procedures. The plan covers scenarios specific to your workplace such as fire, earthquake, flood, chemical spill and sabotage, along with escape routes, assembly points and duty assignments, all with floor plan annexes.
The legislation requires separate support staff assignments for each of the following areas: search, rescue, evacuation and firefighting. At least one person is assigned per 30 employees in the very hazardous class, per 40 in the hazardous class and per 50 in the low hazard class. First aid support staff numbers follow the ratios in the Regulation on First Aid. We prepare the assignment letters and complete any missing training.
The plan is renewed every 2 years in the very hazardous class, 4 in the hazardous class and 6 in the low hazard class, and after every significant change. We design, run and document the mandatory annual drill with its scenario, delivering a photographed record ready for inspection.

Questions about this service
We have fewer than 10 employees. Do we still need to assign support staff?
Yes, but the burden is lighter. In low hazard workplaces with fewer than 10 employees, assigning one employee for all emergency duties is sufficient. The plan itself and the annual drill obligation apply at every scale.
