Article 17 of Law No. 6331 requires every employee to receive occupational health and safety training before starting work, when changing workplace or job, when work equipment changes and at periodic intervals. Untrained employees are the most common reason for per-employee administrative fines during inspections.
Minimum duration and repeat frequency depend on the hazard class. Training is at least 8 hours every 3 years in the low hazard class, at least 12 hours every 2 years in the hazardous class and at least 16 hours every year in the very hazardous class. Programs cover all general, health and technical topics listed in the regulation's annex and are enriched with case examples from your own workplace.
Training is delivered at your workplace in groups arranged around your shift schedule. Each session ends with an assessment, and attendance records and training certificates are issued, giving you an inspection-ready training file. We open periodic catch-up groups for new hires.
