Complete urinalysis is a practical test for screening kidney function, urinary tract infections and metabolic disorders. Samples are collected at your workplace in sterile containers using a barcode system and transported to the laboratory under cold chain conditions.
In workplaces with chemical exposure, biological monitoring (biomonitoring) becomes mandatory. For employees working with paints, thinners and adhesives, urinary hippuric acid and phenol are measured. For lead exposure, urine and blood lead levels are tracked. Which markers to monitor is planned based on your risk assessment and your occupational physician's request.
